Description:
WHI-P97 is a monoclonal antibody that binds to the epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR). It has been shown to inhibit the proliferation of cancer cells in vitro by blocking the binding of EGFR ligands. WHI-P97 has also been shown to induce significant cytotoxicity in squamous carcinoma cell lines and inhibit cell growth in tissue culture. WHI-P97 may be used for the treatment of allergic reactions, as it does not cross react with other receptors.
