Description:

3-Chloropyridine-4-carboxylic acid ethyl ester (3CCAE) is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have chemotherapeutic effects in animal models. 3CCAE has been evaluated as a potential treatment for multiple sclerosis and sclerosis, but it is not currently approved for use in humans. The mechanism of action of 3CCAE is not well understood, but it may be due to its ability to inhibit the formation of dimaleate from malic acid. This mechanism may lead to the inhibition of connective tissue synthesis, which may be useful in the treatment of sclerotic diseases such as multiple sclerosis and scleroderma. 3CCAE also has anti-cancer activity in mice with B-cell lymphomas, suggesting that this compound may have potential as an anthracycline replacement drug for the treatment of non-Hodgkin's lymphomas and relapsed cases.
