It has been shown to have antidepressant properties in vitro and in vivo. 5-((7-(Trifluoromethyl)-5-(4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidin-3-yl)ethynyl)pyridin-2 amine also has a low molecular weight and a neutral pH, which are favorable characteristics for drug development.
