Cesium Green is a fluorescent probe that specifically binds to cesium and other alkali metals. It has been used to detect radioactive contamination in the environment, food samples, and nuclear material. The fluorescence of Cesium Green can be detected by a spectrofluorometer or by direct observation with a microscope.
