Product Information
6-bromo-4-(pyridazin-4-yl)quinoline is a potent inhibitor of mammalian 3-kinase. It is used in the radiosynthesis of rapamycin, which is an immunosuppressant drug that inhibits the mammalian target of rapamycin. 6-bromo-4-(pyridazin-4-yl)quinoline has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of cancer cells and can be used as a radioactive imaging agent for tumor detection. This agent has a specific activity that is three orders of magnitude greater than other pyridine derivatives and has been shown to inhibit cancer cell growth at subnanomolar concentrations.
