1,3,8-Triazaspiro[4.5]decan-2-one is a potent serotonin receptor antagonist that blocks the binding of serotonin to its receptors in the brain. It has been shown to be effective in the treatment of psychosis, schizophrenia, and depression. 1,3,8-Triazaspiro[4.5]decan-2-one is used to treat hypertension by blocking serotonin receptors in blood vessels and preventing vasoconstriction. This drug also has migraine prophylactic effects and may be effective for the treatment of cluster headache.
