Description:

1-O-Acetyl-3,5-bis(4-chlorobenzoyl)-2-deoxy-D-ribose is a methylated saccharide that can be synthesized from D-ribose and 4-(chloromethyl)benzaldehyde. It has been used for the modification of polysaccharides with click chemistry to produce oligosaccharides. This compound has also been used in the synthesis of glycosyls such as N,N'-diacetylchitobiose and N,N'-diacetylchitotriose. 1-O-Acetyl 3,5 bis (4 chlorobenzoyl)-2 deoxy D ribose is an Oligosaccharide that is soluble in water and is stable at high temperatures.
