Product Information
Nickel(II) carbonate hydroxide tetrahydrate (NiCO3.xH2O) is a nickel-containing compound that is used as an activator for polymerization, a catalyst for polymerizing acrylic and nitroaromatic monomers to form polymers, and a catalyst in the production of other organometallic complexes. This compound is also used in the synthesis of lanthanide compounds, transition metal catalysts, and ligands. NiCO3.xH2O has been shown to be an effective catalyst system for the polymerization of ethylene oxide with acetic acid. It is also able to produce high molecular weight polymers from acrylic and nitroaromatic monomers.
