(2-Propoxyphenyl)methanamine (2-PPM) is a synthetic, reductive amination agent that has been shown to be an efficient reductive aminating agent for aryl ketones and aldehydes. 2-PPM has also been shown to be an efficient reductive aminating agent for benzylamines and aromatic aldehydes. This chemical can also be used for the synthesis of functionalized amines by reductive amination.
