Betamethasone acid is a corticosteroid that is used to treat inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis and eczema. Betamethasone acid is also used to treat skin conditions such as dermatitis and erythroderma, but it can cause side effects including hyperglycemia, increased appetite, weight gain, insomnia, depression, anxiety, or mood swings.
