Description:
D3-²Arr is a glyceraldehyde allosteric modulator that has been shown to potentiate the activity of the enzyme, adenosine-5'-phosphatase. D3-²Arr is able to increase the affinity of this enzyme for its substrate, ATP, by binding to an allosteric site and increasing the ability of ATP to bind. This molecule has been shown to be active in rat liver and bovine serum. D3-²Arr also has a role in the regulation of fetal development due to its ability to stimulate gapdh expression in cultured bovine cells. The molecular weight of D3-²Arr is 469.4 Da, with a melting temperature of 126°C.
