Product Information
Lappaol A is a bioactive compound derived from Lonicera japonica. It has been shown to have anticancer, anti-allergic, and antioxidant properties. Lappaol A also inhibits multidrug efflux pumps such as P-glycoprotein (P-gp) in cancer cells and caco2 cells. It was found to be a substrate for P-gp in caenorhabditis elegans and trifluoroacetic acid extracts of L. japonica fruit. Lappaol A is also effective against diabetic neuropathy, butyrolactone, and fruit extract preparations in plant science experiments.
