Description:
1-Phenyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-benzo[d]azepine-7,8-diol hydrochloride (BENZOATE) is a dopamine receptor agonist that has been shown to have antidepressant and anti-cancer effects. BENZOATE blocks the reuptake of dopamine in the brain and increases its levels by inducing a release of stored dopamine. It has also been found that BENZOATE can be used to treat Parkinson's disease and may be an effective treatment for other diseases of the nervous system.
