Product Information
- Carbonic Acid - Thulium (1:1) Hydrate
Thulium(III) carbonate hydrate is an inorganic compound that can be used as a catalyst. It catalyzes the conversion of toluene, xylene and benzene into olefins and aromatics. Thulium(III) carbonate hydrate selects for alkaline metal particles on the surface of the metal compound, which are then reduced by hydrogen in order to produce hydrogenolysis. The catalytic activity of thulium(III) carbonate hydrate is dependent on the ratio of alkaline metal particles to paraffins. This process has been shown to be selective for aromatic hydrocarbons, such as benzene, over aliphatic hydrocarbons, such as toluene and xylene.
