Product Information
DiZPK is a synthetic compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of wild-type viruses by binding to the synthetase enzyme. It is an aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase inhibitor and is effective against fatty acid biosynthesis, protein synthesis, and cellular homeostasis. DiZPK has also been shown to bind to fatty acids in cells and prevent their demethylation. This process may be due to its ability to act as a chaperone for fatty acid synthase, which is required for the production of fatty acids. This synthetic compound also inhibits the protein-protein interaction between aminoacyl tRNA synthetases and elongating ribosomes, preventing translation of proteins from mRNA.
