Description:

N-(4-Chloro-2,5-dimethoxyphenyl)-5-cyclopropyl-3-isoxazolecarboxamide is a fluorescent probe that can be used for screening and probing of transcription factors. It is selective for the transcription factor protein family p53/TP53, which has been implicated in many cancers. The probe is also selective for other transcription factors, including NFκB and EGR1. This compound has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties by inhibiting the production of inflammatory cytokines.
