Bismuth gallate hydrate is an organometallic compound that has been used in pharmaceutical preparations. It has a melting point of 224 °C and a molecular weight of 277.4 g/mol. Bismuth gallate hydrate is used as a pharmaceutical preparation for the treatment of symptoms caused by radiation or exposure to chemicals, including magnesium salt, deionized water, organometallic compounds, and other bismuth salts. This drug can be administered orally or intravenously. Bismuth gallate hydrate has been shown to have anti-inflammatory effects in animals and may also have some antiviral properties.
