PIM1/2 Kinase Inhibitor VI is a small molecule inhibitor of PIM1 and PIM2 kinases. It has been shown to inhibit tumor cell growth by inducing apoptotic cell death in cocultured cells and cancer cells. The synergistic interaction with bortezomib, a proteasome inhibitor, was also observed in vitro. This compound has shown to be effective against osteoblasts that are resistant to bortezomib and may have potential for the treatment of bone lesions associated with cancers.
