Product Information

Name:
Dehydrocorydaline nitrate
Synonyms:
  • 5,6-Dihydro-2,3,9,10-tetramethoxy-13-methyldibenzo[a,g]quinolizinium nitrate
Description:

Dehydrocorydaline nitrate is a natural product that belongs to the group of terpenoids. It has been shown to inhibit NF-κB expression in experimental models, which may be due to its ability to inhibit the activation of IKK and JNK kinases. Dehydrocorydaline nitrate also has anti-inflammatory properties, which are believed to be due to its ability to inhibit the activation of dapk1, an enzyme involved in the inflammatory response. This compound also inhibits chloride channels and can be used as a medicine for symptoms such as fever, headache and muscle pain. Dehydrocorydaline nitrate is found in plants such as rotundifolia and palmatine chloride.
