Uramil-N,N-diacetic Acid Monohydrate is a polycarboxylic acid that has a structural formula of CH2O2. It is used as an intermediate in the production of polyamides and polyesters. Uramil-N,N-diacetic Acid Monohydrate also reacts with phosphate groups to form polyphosphoric acids. This compound is a white powder that is soluble in water, alcohols, and ethers.
