Description:
1-Acetyl-5-nitro-1H-indazole is a dimer. It has been shown to be a potential drug for the treatment of cancer and bacterial infections. 1-Acetyl-5-nitro-1H-indazole inhibits DNA synthesis and transcription, thereby inhibiting the growth of tumor cells. It also has antibacterial activity against Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria, including methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA).
