Praseodymium(III) bromide anhydrous is a tribromide of praseodymium that is soluble in organic solvents. It is used for the introduction of praseodymium into metal alkyls and as a ligand for coordination chemistry. Praseodymium(III) bromide anhydrous has been shown to have frequencies at approximates to those of covid-19 pandemic, which makes it useful in the study of lanthanides.
Praseodymium(III) bromide anhydrous has also been shown to be able to form sequences with alkali metals, such as potassium or sodium, and polyatomic molecules, such as ammonia or hydroxyl ions. This property makes it possible to use this compound as a catalyst for reactions involving these substances.
