Product Information
- 1-phthalazinamine, 4-chloro-N-methyl-
4-Chloro-phthalazin-1-yl)-methyl-amine is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of anion radicals. It has been shown to be stable in dimethylformamide and pyridazine, but not in nitrobenzene. The electron transfer mechanism for this compound has been studied by electrochemical voltammetry and radical anions. These studies show that 4-chloro-phthalazin-1-yl)-methyl-amine reacts with unsymmetrical alkyl nitrogens to form a stable radical anion. This reaction can be reversed by adding a base or electron donor, such as methylamine.
