It has been shown to inhibit the replication of HIV-1 and to induce apoptosis in tumor cells. N6-Benzoyl-2'-deoxy-5'-O-DMT-a-adenosine is a phosphoramidite that can be used for the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and deoxyribonucleotides.
