Product Information
4-Isobutylcyclohexanecarboxylic Acid is an organic compound that is used as a remedy for bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis. It is also used to produce hydrochloric acid and other organic compounds. The cis-isomer of 4-Isobutylcyclohexanecarboxylic Acid has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of the respiratory burst in human neutrophils, thus inhibiting the release of reactive oxygen species. The trans-isomer has been shown to exhibit an anti-inflammatory effect on mouse skin, which may be due to its inhibition of histamine release from mast cells. This compound also exhibits hemolytic activity and can cause dermatitis or asthma.
