Description:

1-(2'-Chloro-2'-deoxy-beta-L-arabinofuranosyl)thymine (1CA) is an anticancer and antiviral agent that was synthesized for the first time in 2012. It has been shown to be a potent inhibitor of DNA, RNA, and protein synthesis in vitro. This compound is a novel synthetic nucleoside with high purity and high quality. 1CA has been shown to have a cytotoxic effect on cancer cells, as well as inducing apoptosis through activation of caspases.
