1-N-Decylpiperazine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with high potency. It is a membrane permeant, halogenated, fluorinated drug that has been used in clinical trials for treating cancer. 1-N-Decylpiperazine is a sulfamoylated, aliphatic drug that has been shown to have an inhibitory effect on the enzyme sulfatase and has been used in the treatment of diseases such as hypercalcemia. The drug's mode of action involves inhibition of steroid sulfatase and inhibition of the production of prostaglandins. 1-N-Decylpiperazine has also been shown to be a potent inhibitor of human cancer cells and can be used as an oncology drug target.
