Description

5'-Deoxy-5'-(methylthio)adenosine is a nucleoside that has been shown to inhibit the growth of bowel cancer cells. 5'-Deoxy-5'-(methylthio)adenosine blocks the synthesis of DNA and RNA by inhibiting the action of enzymes involved in DNA metabolism.
