It has antiviral activity against herpes virus and anticancer activity against tumor cells in vitro. 1 has been shown to be a novel phosphoramidite monophosphate, which can be used for the synthesis of DNA, RNA, and other nucleic acids. 1 is a white powder with a purity of greater than 99%.
