Description:
Methyl 2-(((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)oxy)acetate is a type of endothelin receptor antagonist. It is an antagonist of the endothelin receptor and has been shown to reduce inflammation in rat kidneys. Methyl 2-(((trifluoromethyl)sulfonyl)oxy)acetate may also be used for cardiovascular diseases, as it has been shown to lower blood pressure and heart rate in rats. This drug is not active against endothelin-1, but can antagonize other types of endothelin such as endothelin-2.
