MKC8866 is an experimental anti-cancer drug that is currently in Phase II clinical trials. It has been shown to inhibit autophagy, which is the process of breaking down and recycling cellular components. This drug has also been shown to reduce protein synthesis and induce apoptosis in cancer cells. The effective dose for MKC8866 has not yet been determined, but it is expected to be between 0.5 and 1 milligrams per kilogram. MKC8866 has also been shown to have anticancer effects on a range of cancers including breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, colon cancer, and gastric cancer.
