Product Information
5-[(2-Cyanoethoxy)methyl]-2'-deoxycytidine is a modified nucleoside that inhibits viral replication by interfering with the synthesis of viral DNA. This antiviral agent has been shown to have anticancer effects in vitro and in vivo. 5-[(2-Cyanoethoxy)methyl]-2'-deoxycytidine is an activator of RNA polymerase, which leads to increased production of ribonucleotides, deoxyribonucleotides, and phosphoramidites. 5-[(2-Cyanoethoxy)methyl]-2'-deoxycytidine is also known as cytidine monophosphate (CMP), phosphoramidite CMP, or 2' deoxythymidine monophosphate (dTMP). It can be synthesized from 2' deoxythymidine phosphate (dTTP) using phosphoramidite chemistry.
