2-(5-Methoxy-2,3-dihydrofuro[3,2-I][3]benzoxepin-2-yl)propan-2-ol is a compound that is found in an ethanol extract of the roots of Angelica sinensis. This extract has been shown to have significant inhibitory activity against endocannabinoid uptake and tnf-α production. 2-(5-Methoxy-2,3-dihydrofuro[3,2-I][3]benzoxepin-2-yl)propan-2-ol also inhibits the synthesis of proinflammatory cytokines such as phenylpropanoids.
