4-Methyl-2-[4-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-1,3-thiazole-5-carbohydrazide (4MTPCA) is a hydrazide that has antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. It scavenges hydroxyl radicals and is an effective antioxidant. It also inhibits the growth of bacterial strains in vitro.
