Description:
Isoindoline-5-carbonitrile is a dopamine D3 receptor agonist that has been shown to have pharmacokinetic properties. It is orally bioavailable and has an affinity for the dopamine D3 receptor. The drug has been tested in a murine model of tuberculosis and showed antimycobacterial activity with a penetrant profile. Isoindoline-5-carbonitrile also showed antitubercular activity, with oral bioavailability that was optimised by the addition of cyclodextrin to the formulation.
