Product Information
Propargyl-PEG4-Tos is a conjugate of propargyl alcohol with polyethylene glycol. It is used in the treatment of autoimmune diseases to inhibit the production of antibodies. It has been shown to be effective against tumor xenografts in mice, and it inhibits tumor growth by inhibiting the uptake of glucose and glutamine by cancer cells. Propargyl-PEG4-Tos has a constant molecular weight and does not react with human serum proteins at pH 7.4, which makes it useful for measuring inhibition constants for acid conjugates.
