Phlorigidoside B is a natural product that has been isolated from the leaves of Callicarpa paniculata. It has been shown to have cytoprotective properties and can be used for the treatment of diseases such as cancer. The active form, 8-O-acetylshanzhiside, is found in the leaves of C. paniculata and it has been shown to have antitumor activity. Phlorigidoside B has also been shown to contain ionization mass at m/z 807 for use in structural identification by electrospray ionization (ESI)
