Hec1/Nek2 Mitotic Pathway Inhibitor I, INH1 is a chemotherapeutic agent that targets the mitotic pathway. It is a peptide that was derived from an antibody that binds to the active site of human protease Nek2. This drug inhibits the growth of tumor cells by blocking the synthesis of proteins required for cell division. It has been shown to be effective in vivo in mouse models and cell culture.
