Description:
VDM 11 is a dopamine analog that has been shown to improve cardiac contractility in an experimental model. It binds to voltage-dependent calcium channels and blocks the entry of calcium, which prevents the release of neurotransmitters from nerve cells. VDM 11 also reduces granule neuron activity and increased locomotor activity. VDM 11 is not toxic to the heart and does not affect blood pressure or heart rate. VDM 11 is excreted into the urine unchanged.
