Description:

2,4,5,6-Tetraaminopyrimidine 2HCl is a chemical compound that belongs to the group of pyrimidines. It is a colorless solid with a melting point of 178.2°C and a boiling point of 339.8°C. This compound can be obtained by reacting 2,4,5-trichloropyrimidine with potassium cyanide in acetic acid solution or by heating 2,4-diaminopyrimidine with ammonium chloride and sodium nitrate in water.
