Product Information
5-bromo-3-(4-methoxyphenyl)-1-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carbaldehyde (BMP) is a synthetic molecule that has shown anti-cancer and anti-fibrosis properties. It is a prodrug, which can be activated by esterases to form the active metabolite 5,5'-dibromo-3,3'-dichlorooxybiphenyl (DBDP). DBDP inhibits the growth of cancer cells by interfering with cell division and proliferation. This drug also reduces fibrosis in animal models.
