Ibrutinib binds to the ATP binding site of BTK and inhibits its kinase activity. Ibrutinib also interacts with a number of other proteins, including ion channels, cell biology, antibody, protein interactions, and peptides. The IC50 value is 1 nM for its inhibitory effect on BTK.
