Description

Rhodionin is a natural product that has been shown to be effective as a food preservative. It is produced through the extraction of usnic acid from Rhodiola rosea and has been used in the study of amyloid protein. Rhodionin is an extractant that has been shown to be able to control analysis of sodium citrate in food composition. The use of rhodionin for this purpose was found to be practical and effective, with no significant changes in the quality or quantity of citric acid. This extractant also shows promise as an analytical method for the detection of ganoderma lucidum, human liver cancer cells, and flavonol glycosides.
