Description:

N1,N1-Dibenzylethane-1,2-diamine is a chemical compound that is used in analytical chemistry as a reagent for the determination of methionine aminopeptidase activity. It has also been used to measure iron binding in human serum. The chemiluminescent reaction of this compound with acetylcholine can be used to detect and quantify carboxylate ions. This compound is also found in procaine and dibenamine.
