It has been shown to inhibit coagulation, myocardial infarct, cytosolic Ca2+, and receptor activity in vitro. H-Ser-Leu-Ile-Gly-Arg-Leu-OH has also been shown to decrease blood pressure in mice by inhibiting cyclase activity and reducing vascular reactivity.
