Description

2,4,6-Tris(isopropyl)benzenesulphonohydrazide is an organic solvent that is used as a diagnostic agent. It has been shown to exhibit strong radiation and x-ray sensitivity. 2,4,6-Tris(isopropyl)benzenesulphonohydrazide is also commonly used in the production of polymers such as photoresist and patterning materials. This compound has shown anti-obesity effects in mice by inhibiting lipogenesis. The hydroxyl group on the 2,4,6-tris(isopropyl)benzenesulphonohydrazide molecule interacts with fatty acids to form a protonated hydroxyl group that can be used to bind with urea nitrogen.
