Product Information

Name:
5,6-Dihydro-4H-benzo[f]pyrrolo[1,2-a][1,4]diazepine
Description:

5,6-Dihydro-4H-benzo[f]pyrrolo[1,2-a][1,4]diazepine is a heterocyclic compound that is effective in the treatment of dermatophyte and systemic fungal infections. This drug binds to ergosterol in the fungal cell membrane and changes its permeability. It also inhibits the synthesis of ergosterol by inhibiting cytochrome P450 enzymes. Ergosterol is an essential component for the cell membrane of fungi and 5,6-Dihydro-4H-benzo[f]pyrrolo[1,2-a][1,4]diazepine prevents this synthesis by blocking the action of cytochrome P450 enzymes. This leads to disruption of the cell membrane and death of the fungus. 5,6-Dihydro-4H-benzo[f]pyrrolo[1,2
