Product Information
Tert-Butylamine Hydroiodide is a chemical that has been used in pharmaceutical dosage forms as an activator or stabilizer. It is also used as a reagent in the synthesis of organic compounds, such as amines and esters. Tert-Butylamine Hydroiodide reacts with hydroxides to produce tertiary amines. It has been shown to have antioxidant properties, which may be due to its ability to scavenge free radicals and inhibit lipid peroxidation reactions. Tert-Butylamine Hydroiodide inhibits the activity of enzymes, including group IIA hydroxylases and group IIE oxidases. This inhibition can be useful for the treatment of diseases involving these enzymes, such as diabetes mellitus and asthma.
