tert-Butyl 2-[(propan-2-yl)amino]methyl piperidine-1-carboxylate (BPC) is a cycloalkylidene that has been shown to inhibit the function of protein kinase C and tyrosine kinase. It has also been shown to inhibit the activity of pyrazolyl, azetidine, phenoxy, and benzotriazolyl in vitro. BPC is an effective inhibitor of fatty acid biosynthesis and may be used for the treatment of obesity.
