Schisantherin D is a biphenyl compound that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells. Schisantherin D has also been shown to have hepatoprotective effects by stimulating the synthesis of growth factor-β1, which promotes cellular proliferation and differentiation. Schisantherin D has also been shown to be a natural product with anti-inflammatory properties. The chemical structure of schisantherin D was determined by silico analysis and found to contain one phenolic group, three benzene rings, and an acetyl group.
Schisantherin D is soluble in water and can be dissolved in ethanol, chloroform, ether, or petroleum ether. This extract can be used as a medication for the treatment of cancer and other diseases.
